You’ll Want To Try These Decorating Ideas Right Away!

Maybe you know the situation: You want to decorate your home festively during Advent, but find that you no longer like last year’s Christmas decorations or that they didn’t hold up well during the last festive season. You also don’t want to buy plastic stuff from the Far East. If you are looking for ideas that you can easily realize yourself, we have some inspiration for you…

Gift board

– Prime a square-cut board and coat it with white paint.

– Glue decorative gift ribbon crosswise on the board.

– Spray a plastic flower with fake snow and glue it to the board where the gift ribbons cross.

– Add a few fir branches as accents.

Glow-in-the-dark jar

– On an empty canning jar, apply masking tape onto which you’ll draw silhouettes of Christmas trees, then use a sharp knife to cut them out. Remove the remaining masking tape.

– Spray the glass all around with white paint and, when dry, remove the masking tape to reveal the Christmas tree silhouettes.

– Now place a string of lights inside the jar, which will glow festively through the tree-shaped cutouts.

Elegant Christmas candle holder

– Take a wine glass and draw a circle on a piece of cardboard using the opening as a stencil.

– Cut out the circle and spray it with fake snow.

– Glue a pine cone to the cardboard circle and then place the wine glass on top with the opening facing down.

– Glue the glass to the cardboard circle and place a candle on the bottom of the glass facing up.

Bouquet

– Wrap a balloon with a decorative piece of cloth that you tie with a zip tie.

– Use glue to attach decorative twigs and flower wreaths to the wrapped balloon.

– Attach gift ribbon as a hanger.

Mini Christmas Tree

– Put a decorative fir branch in a thin-necked vase, then wrap it with a piece of coarse linen cloth.

– Spray the fir branches with fake snow.

Santa Claus figurine

– Paint a flower pot two-tone red and black as shown in the video.

– Paint a second pot red and glue it to the opening of the first flower pot with the opening facing down – This will create a torso that you will paint and decorate as shown in the video.

– A third flower pot is placed on top as Santa’s head and the face is painted on.

– Finally, a fourth pot painted red forms Santa’s hat.
