Two Simple Paper Tricks Your Kids Will Love!

As children, we all wanted only the latest and “trendiest” toys. It couldn’t be just any action figure, but something from Masters of the Universe. Not a no-name dollhouse, rather the Barbie Beachhouse. But the amazing thing was and still is: children can keep themselves happy just as well with very simple things and play with them for hours.

So if you want to give your kids a little treat without running to the next toy store, the following craft ideas are just perfect!

Colorful ribbons

– Cut 10 colorful paper strips (about 1 x 8 inches).

– Cut out four circular discs (diameter approx. 2 inches) from clay paper and pierce them in the middle.

– Now glue the paper strips in a star shape onto one of the discs and fix them from above with a second disc.

– Do the same with the other ends of the strips.

– Now put a sufficiently long wooden stick through the holes in the discs and fix the arrangement with glue.

Magic cubes

– Cut 6 paper squares (1.5 inches edge length) and fold them twice, first from the left and right sides to the center, then from the top and bottom to the center.

– Unfold the sides so that the object looks like a staple.

– Now start to stack the 6 folded pieces of paper into each other so that a cube is formed (as shown in the video).

– Fix the cube with tape.

– Repeat the process – you will need 8 cubes in total.

– Now tape the cubes together exactly as shown step by step in the video.
