These Stylish Bracelets Are Easy To Make With Just A Few Simple Steps!

There’s probably not a single 90s kid who doesn’t cherish them and keep a collection of them in the depths of the boxes in the attic: we’re talking about friendship bracelets! Back in the day, giving or receiving one of these as a gift was the ultimate proof of friendship, and over time we became quite adept at weaving them. Are you ready for an upgrade to these cool little ribbons? If so, here are a few variations you can easily try!

Variation #1

Take two long, different colored (faux) leather cords and a selection of different colored craft beads.

Knot the strings together at one end and then thread a bead onto each. Then take both ends of the strings together and thread a different colored bead onto both strings at the same time. Continue in this way, alternating; finally, tie the ends of the strings together and cut off the excess.

Variation #2

This time you need three strings, which you tie together at one end. Thread a bead onto the middle string and form a knot with the other two, tightening them around the bead. Repeat this several times. Finally, tie the ends of the strings together and cut off the rest of the strings.

Variation #3

Take two strings and tie them together at one end. Now thread some beads on both of them. Next, put the strings around the beads in loops as shown in the video. Finally, tie the ends of the strings together and cut off the excess strings.

Variation #4

Take three strings and knot two of them in the middle with the first one. Now braid the two knotted cords a few times as shown in the video. Thread a bead onto the middle string and knot the other two strings several times so that they tighten the knots around the bead and enclose it. Repeat this a few times. Finally, tie the ends of the strings together and trim off any excess.
