Super Simple: 3 Great Decoration Ideas From Wool

Many people still know wool as a stubborn material from the craft lessons: Beautiful, but somehow difficult to handle and even harder to make anything out of it that does not fall apart again after seconds. With today’s DIY tips, however, you will certainly succeed in conjuring up something pretty out of the colorful strings. We show you how it’s done!

#1 Wool Star

Glue a star-shaped template onto a wooden board.

Drive nails at the points where lines meet and corners form.

Soak a wool ball in paste and then wrap it briskly around the nails following the star lines.

Peel off when dry, add a piece of wool as a hanger.

#2 Wool Cloud Mobile

Trace a cloud shape on cardboard and cut out as shown in the video.

Wrap the cardboard shape tightly with white wool.

Now wrap colored wool around hand a few times, then cut with scissors – creating wool ends of equal length; do the same with different colors.

Knot the wool ends to the cloud shape.

Trace a heart shape onto cardboard and cut out.

Wrap the shape completely and thickly with red wool, then add a piece of wool as a hanger.
