Today, we ourselves would like to have more homemade and less plastic decorations on the Christmas tree. If you&#8217;re also looking for ideas on how to make the festive season more individual, we have a few DIY inspirations for you!<\/p>\n<h2>#1 Santa Claus Christmas tree ornament <\/h2>\n<p>You can make a Santa Claus out of a simple paper plate: paint the facial features and the red cap as shown in the video and indicate hair and beard with glued-on cotton-wool. Glue a piece of cord a hanger on the back.<\/p>\n<h2>#2 Mini Christmas Trees <\/h2>\n<p>Spray a pine cone with green paint and some artificial snow, then you can apply glue and sprinkle the pine cone with coarser artificial snow flakes.<br \/>\nNow cut a wine cork in half and glue the pine cone onto one half, turning it into a Christmas tree stand. A star on the top finishes off the look.<\/p>\n<h2>#3 Ornament Chain <\/h2>\n<p>Cut three felt squares in different shades of green into narrow strips. Lay the strips on top of each other and paint Christmas tree silhouettes on them. Cut along the outlines and glue the strips to a wooden clothespin. Repeat the process a few times, then you can clip the ornaments to a long piece of cord.<\/p>\n<h2>#4 Lantern <\/h2>\n<p>Coat a canning jar with glue and sprinkle it opaquely with artificial snow. Decorate it further by tying a piece of cord around the opening and gluing small fir branches to it. <\/p>\n<h2>#5 Reindeer Ornament <\/h2>\n<p>Cut a small circle out of red clay paper. On brown clay paper, paint the reindeer antlers as shown in the video, cut it out too. Apply glue to both and sprinkle with gold glitter. Now glue the circle as a nose on the center of a thin wooden disk. Glue the antlers to the back of the disk and stabilize them with an ice cream stick\/ wooden spatula. Now draw the eyes and mouth with a felt pen and attach a hanger to the back of the wooden disc.<\/p>\n<h2>#6 Snowman Light <\/h2>\n<p>Cut two thin strips from red felt. Wrap one of them around a small artificial light and glue it in place. Make a small bow out of the other one and glue it to the artificial light as well. Cut the hat, also from red felt, and glue it on, then paint on the mouth and nose with a felt pen. A hanger on the back completes the decoration.<\/p>\n<h2>#7 Christmas tree decor <\/h2>\n<p>Cut wooden sticks in different lengths so that they form the silhouette of a Christmas tree. Paint the wooden stick pieces in the color of your choice. From behind, glue a long wooden stick as the trunk of the \u201ctree\u201d. Glue small colorful buttons to it as decorative elements. A star on the top completes the picture.<\/p>\n<h2>#8 Advent wreath <\/h2>\n<p>Paint a large circle on a thick piece of foam, using a plate as a template, for example. Glue on plain buttons of different sizes alongside this guideline. You can add accents with a few more buttons of a different color.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you think of our DIY decoration?
