It probably wasn&#8217;t just a matter of practice, but also of tricks that make things easier. To make sewing a breeze for you in the future, we&#8217;ve put together a whole bunch of tips here.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #1 <\/h2>\n<p>You can use a bar of soap to draw guide lines on garments that can be removed without leaving any trace.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #2 <\/h2>\n<p>If you bend a paper clip into shape as shown in the video and glue it between two buttons, you can easily use it to insert threads into needle eyes.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #3 <\/h2>\n<p>Tie a piece of yarn to a pencil to accurately draw arcs as you would with a compass.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #4 <\/h2>\n<p>If you smoothen the wool with lip balm before sewing, the work will go easier.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #5 <\/h2>\n<p>To fold fabric into shape and keep it in place, you can use ordinary hair clips.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #6 <\/h2>\n<p>Scissors or other blades can be easily cleaned and sharpened with a crumpled piece of aluminum foil.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #7 <\/h2>\n<p>Rub soap on the end of a wool thread to make it easier to thread.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #8 <\/h2>\n<p>Clothespins are also great for folding and pinning fabric.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #9 <\/h2>\n<p>You can also use nail polish to insert ends of wool threads into needle eyes more easily.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #10 <\/h2>\n<p>Knot two different colored threads together to join them.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #11 <\/h2>\n<p>On a discarded shirt, you can remove the sleeves, cut fringes and knot them as shown in the video to make a DIY tote bag.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #12 <\/h2>\n<p>Tape a thumbtack to the side of your sewing machine to sew accurate arcs and circles using it as a fixed center, just like a compass.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #13 <\/h2>\n<p>DIY wool dispenser: place balls of wool in a canning jar and attach binder clips to the rim of the jar. Now feed the ends of the wool through the clips to conveniently unroll wool as needed.<\/p>\n<h2> Tip #13 <\/h2>\n<p>Another method to make stylish DIY bags from old shirts: Separate sleeves and collar as shown in the video, sew the openings and cut an oval slit as a carrying handle. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you think our little tricks are helpful?
