But plastic flowers are usually not a good substitute either &#8211; they pretend to be real, but when you look at them you only think of the factory in the Far East where they were made. <\/p>\n<p>Therefore, we want to introduce you to an alternative, which you can easily make yourself with a little skill and patience: Paper flowers!<\/p>\n<h2> Variation #1 <\/h2>\n<p>Fold a square piece of red paper several times from corner to corner, and then cut it as shown in the video &#8211; so you get a multi-leaf Petal. Repeat the process 3 &#8211; 4 times.<\/p>\n<p>Fold a strip of yellow paper first lengthwise and then from one short side to the other, then cut it in half again and again with scissors; the cuts should be close to each other.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap a piece of green paper around a wooden stick and glue the end piece so that the paper doesn&#8217;t curl back up &#8211; this is how the flower stem is made. <\/p>\n<p>Now apply glue to the prepared yellow paper strip and wrap it several times around the upper end of the flower stem &#8211; this is the flower calyx.<\/p>\n<p>Now put the red petals through the stem and push them up to the calyx.<\/p>\n<h2> Variation #2 <\/h2>\n<p>Connect six strips of red paper at the ends with glue and fold the resulting band lengthwise as shown in the video.<\/p>\n<p>Attach the resulting rose petal to a wooden stick with glue.<\/p>\n<p>Cut leaves from green paper and glue them to the wooden stick as well.<\/p>\n<h2> Variation #3 <\/h2>\n<p>Fold a square piece of yellow paper several times from side to side and then from one corner to the other. Then cut it as shown in the video &#8211; so you get a multi-petaled paper flower. <\/p>\n<p>Put a cut between each two petals to separate them.<\/p>\n<p>Now glue two leaves together to create a funnel-shaped flower (see video).<\/p>\n<p>Wrap a piece of orange paper tightly to form a roll.<\/p>\n<p>Now fold a strip of orange paper first lengthwise and then from one short side to the other, then cut it in half again and again with scissors; the cuts should also be close together, as in variation #1.<\/p>\n<p>Apply glue to the paper strip and wrap it several times around the top of the orange roll to form the stigma and pistil; poke the whole thing through the hole in the center of your funnel flower.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap a piece of green paper around a wooden stick and tape the end piece so that the paper doesn&#8217;t curl back up &#8211; this is the flower stem. <\/p>\n<p>Cut the stem open at one end as shown in the video and put the stigma\/stamp + flower into the stem.<\/p>\n<p>Cut leaves from green paper and glue them to the flower stem.<\/p>\n<h2> Variation #4 <\/h2>\n<p>Cut out ten circular discs from red paper.<\/p>\n<p>Fold them several times and trim them as shown in the video.<\/p>\n<p>Now fold them in a funnel shape.<\/p>\n<p>Cut out a star-shaped base from red paper and glue the funnel-shaped flower pieces onto it until you have a bushy flower.<\/p>\n<p>Cut leaves from green paper.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap a piece of green paper around a wooden stick and tape the end piece so that the paper doesn&#8217;t curl back up. That&#8217;s the the flower stem; tape the leaves to it.<\/p>\n<p>Cut the stem open at one end as shown in the video and glue the flower to the stem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you think of our flowery decoration idea?
